Xilisoft Video Converter-- can't max out my cores

I have 4 cores, configured it to use all and set max processes to 8 (also tried auto), but I can't seem to find any codec profiles that make use of all 4 cores.
?

yeah the program does the same thing with me, the only program that I have found to encode stuff and max my cores is handbrake.

Same here, best I can ever get is about 60%. Doesn't seem to take any longer than Handbrake, thought and you get the option to enable CUDA support and it's a lot less buggy, so it's worth it.
