The only similarity is cell shading and first person shooter. Outside of that, they're exceptionally different.

Borderlands is an FPS diablo with a mediocre story.

They're exactly the same though, 'cause both are cell shaded.

Edit: You used to be able to buy it digitally on GOG, I believe, until they pulled it to release it as a shitty hidden object game on mobile.

Yes. And Adam West, too. The ambient sounds in that game are great, too. The scrunch of snow underfoot. Gun-fire & ricochet. Such a cool game. They made a shitty TV movie based on it.

is that all games are to you, graphics? doesn't gameplay matter?

I think the XMen Legends games on PS2 are the first cellshaded games that I played. Elemental/Legendary Heroes is another cell-shaded game I have played.

I don't think they are anything like Borderlands.

I always wanted to play XIII, though. Always looked cool.
