XIII - Thirteen for PC. What an awesome game so far!

I know this game is old, but the cel-shading and running it at 1600x1200 is a great gameplay experience. It's like a comic novel/FPS, which is a great combination. I wanted this on my Gamecube years ago but never picked it up. I just bought it for $2.50 at a used game store.

Anyone else play this?

They made a miniseries about it in 2008 as well. Never watched it though.

I remember playing the demo and liking it however I didn't buy it because I found out it used starforce, a particular nasty bit of DRM that Ubisoft no longer uses.

Did they make a patch to remove starforce?

Patch 1.3 i believe removes DRM, but I'm certain it makes it a no-cd playable game.

Edit: That SSD you have in FS/FT is tempting... and.... its gone!

IIRC, it came on multiple cd's and you had to swap them several times during the game or something.

Starforce was a fucking mess any way you dissect it. Believe me, I purchased more Starforce games than anyone here.

Awesome voice acting, great music, graphics that are standing the test of time, solid gameplay...

I don't see a major flaw. I regret not buying this ages ago.
