From the pack I have handily beside me :D (good thing I kept it lying round)

Since the MX-2 does not contain any metal particles there are no problems regarding electrical conductivity and capacitance

So it doesn't sound like it has Al203 in it...

1. Case and Cooling is the proper section for this kind of question

2. Welcome to Anandtech.

3. You dont need to worry about oxidation unless your concerned about aesthetics.

No thermal paste AFAIK uses metal particles except silver-based ones (Like AS5) but most don't even use that anymore...

There's always coollaboratory's liquid metal pro. Good luck using that stuff.

I'm using that cooler and that paste. No problems here. Like a couple of others have said, there is no metal in the paste.

even then silver wont react with the copper or alu.

Which is why i keep telling people Zalman are idiots in there water department. Why Gold plate when Silver Plate = tons better and Cheaper.
