Question Xiaomi A 2025 32" LED HD as Monitor

Hello

I just bought a new TV - Xiaomi TV A 2025 32" (4k)

So i decided to try it as Monitor, since the current i use is old

Tried to change several settings on both the PC and TV - The image is not really good, especially when playing a game (tried all video adjustments in the game).
There is no options available for the selected monitor (the TV) like resolution change etc

Very likely the problem is my PCs configuration (it's old) :

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 (1GB)
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz, 2667 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16,0 GB

HDMI 2.0 Connection

Looking for suggestions - Anything i miss and can be done? or just PC > < TV are not compatible
What is the maximum i can get?

That old Nvidia card is the culprit. It's so old that it doesn't even support 4K so the resolution is not right. This is from the specs page of that card:

Resolution & Refresh

  • Max Analog: 2048x1536
  • Max Digital: 2560x1600 (Dual Link DVI Only)

That's probably because the drivers are so outdated for that card. The latest and last drivers from Nvidia are from Mar 27, 2018, so they're 6 years old already.

Maybe there is some magical way to improve the games graphics 😀

Btw why Browsers Video have a Higher quality and the desktop itself

Because games will always look best at the monitor's native resolution. You have to downscale to much to be able to play a game that it probably looks pretty bad.
