XGL on linux

My current PCs in my sig, I have a geforce 5200, an extra 512 of ram and a 1.2ghz processor in the mail.

What do you think would be good specs to run this comfortably?

Try out the Koroaa XGL LiveCD and check it out for yourself.

I personally ran this on a school computer (actually quite newish) with an intel chipset. It was somewhat sluggish with some cool matrix falling code effects, but without those it would run it almost smoothly. I think your card might be fine.

I read that the first XGL demo was done on a notebook with a fairly old ATI card in it, so either machine should be more than fast enough as long as you can get GL acceleration going.
