Drivers, as noted in reviews
And they are the exact same problems they had with beta drivers on beta hardware, now still evident in production hardware and production drivers. Also the exact same quality that applied to trident and xabre cards all throughout their lifetime, which was NEVER fixed. You better pray it's just a driver problem
massive memory bandwidth is pretty much on par with nVidia's latest offering as far as hardware goes.
Not quite, the V8 has a 128-bit memory bus, it is on par with the 5800 ultra
AA performance problems are driver problems
First time i've heard AA performance was a driver problem, it's not like the Volari cards do full supersampling which has a horrendous performance drop, err wait they do
I was also impressed by the fillrate of this card
Well duh, it's 2 GPU's, it should have high fillrate by definition
at least XGI dont cheat like ATi and Nvidia.. as yet
So if ATI or Nvidia changes their name, the new company has done no cheating with drivers, even when they were cheating before they changed their name?
