XGI Dual GPU Pic

Read our Day 4 coverage. Yes, AnandTech can confirm that the Duo versions (the ones with two graphic processors) have two power connectors.

That hercules pic aint even a video card, so dont be too excited!
🙁

About the XGI, not bad benchies from what ive seen so far. I was expecting more tho from a Duel config. THe scores are below what a XT or a 5900U are. Just imagine if those cards where duels!!

3dfx failed with the multiple GPU technique, why does nVidia think it's gonna work???? If they can't build a faster GPU, then I guess this is the only to compete?

Huh? What does nVidia have to do with the XGI cards? And it also has nothing to do with the inability to build a faster GPU, but if their goal is to compete with current offerings from ATI and nVidia in both price and performance (which it is) then a dual GPU solution makes more sense, since you can use two slower, less expensive GPUs instead of one expensive one.

That reminds me of that one 3DFx card with four GPUs on it. 🙂 I wonder how much power it gives off though with BOTH of those Molexs!
