xfx vs evga

given the choice between the 2 companies which do you choose for a 6800 gt pic-e. specs wise the cards are the exact same, the XFX comes with soem stupid games that i don't want so dont' think about htat in yoru decision. furthermore both are using the same cooler. so this is purely about does evga have a good name or does xfx have a better name. anyone have any experience with eitehr brand? i'm still not 100% on either of these brands but these are the 2 i currently can get my hands on so which is best?
 
I have a XFX 6800GT AGP and it has run really well so far. I wish I could take my core a little further (400 would be nice just to say ultra speeds lol), but I have never owned an eVGA card so I can't say anything about their quality.
 
earch feature? what is that? sorry before this morning when my local retailer started stockign evga i'd never paid any attention to them other than to notice they are one of the more expensive brands.
 
I am sure if you got either it would be fine, but from what i hear, better odds of having no probs with the eVGA.

I am loving my eVGA 6800GT.
 
I was watching on ESPN last night and man XFX got knocked out by BFG. Too bad EVGA was eating chicken mc-nuggets at the sidelines because EVGA would've won.
