Store is shady? Don't believe I've ever heard buy.com refferred to that way. I've always considered them as pretty reliable.
 
If I have the right adapter, I will be able to plug in a VGA monitor to this card and not use the dual capacity right?

Not quite as hot as it first looks.

The $5 instant rebate and the $15 coupon cannot be used at the same time. In addition Buy.com charges tax to MD so it raises the prices $11 to ~$216 shipped. So the final after rebate price is ~$191. The egg has it for $209 shipped.

So I am saving a little under 10% with a MIR to buy it from Buy.com vs NewEgg.

It has two DVI connectors on the back of the video card. Can I use only one of them or is there something forcing me to use both?

There is nothing forcing you to use both of them at the same time. You can use only one at a time.

Really? I've used buy.com many times and have not had any problems. I'm tempted to get this card if it wasn't for my bank account :-(
 
how 'bout this XFX card itself. I know XFX is Pine Video, and I Have never owned any of their cards. Can anyone vouch for quality or support here?
 
the new heatsink on the xfx cards is pretty nice. this is my first pine/xfx card but im really happy with it. had it about a month now. i dont need to o/c yet so i duno how it does there but it comes with 1000mhz memory where some agp cards have only 900mhz. it comes with x2: the threat, commandos 3, and some racing game...
