XFX HD-587x-ZNFC After Market Cooling

Anyone have experience with this Vidcard and After Market Cooling?

I just received this card yesterday and it's very sweet. However, it just gets too loud under full load, especially running Milkway(totally awesome results < 1.5 minutes/WU compared to < 4 minutes/WU with a 4850).

I have Googled like crazy for info on it, but have found practically no info on Coolers for it, other than people suggesting Water, but I won't go there. What I have found is that the card doesn't allow Voltage adjustment(there is a Hardware hack for it) and thus is a non-Reference design. However, after looking at a couple bare PCB pics of the Reference and this particular card they both appear to be the same in layout.

So before laying down $50+ on an After Market Cooler, I have come to you, AT Video, for any info you may have on this particular Video Card.

That model does support software control of the voltage. I know that the program TriXX supports the voltage controller used on that model card.

Make sure that you keep the original cooler and pads if you swap it with another cooler. They are going to want that to be back on there if you ever sent it in for service.

Thanks for the clarifications.

I'm going to try something else first. My old Thermaltake Xaser III with low RPM 80mm fans might be my biggest problem. About to pull the trigger on a Zalman Z9 Plus to see what results that gives first.

 If you don't mind, drop some of your info in my thread here. I will update the chart as soon as I get my HD6950 in order.
