they are not, thats Tiger Direct, they Purchased the CompUSA name, and even reopened a few of the stores too.

not many though, florida texas and Puerto Rico stores only.

I would go for the superclocked version from newegg.

its clocked way higher.

and you can do the step-up program, and its a manufacature rebate instead of a Tiger Direct rebate.

have never failed to get a EVGA rebate and i even got a double rebate from EVGA once.

The EVGA deal is nice as well. Some of the EVGA cards come Core locked at 680mhz. Here are some things to consider when purchasing either card.

EVGA - 1.0ns Samsung Chips. Higher Memory overclocks to 2000+. Some of the cards come core locked at 680mhz, even when not the core overclocks are typically lower. Estimated OC - 680+ / 2000.

XFX - 1.4ns Chips. Lower Memory overclocks, although some have claimed to reach 2000. Core clocks are hitting well over 700, some reports of stable core around 750. Some people are complaining of a very loud fan. PCB is non refrence design, a little smaller. Estimated OC - 700+ / 1600+.

I have space issues in my case, so the smaller card made more sense. I also don't plan on bothering with the $15 rebate. I'm going to sell COD4 locally for $25-30 and achieve the same price as the EVGA deal, without rebate hassle.
