so obviously its pumping 650 watts into my system.
I call it luck that i got myself a 650 watt powersupply because i ordered a 500 watt power supply from new egg. its either just luck, or newegg is screwing my rma warranty up or newegg was just playing it smart by sending me a 650 watt cool max ct650 because i will be rmaing a psu every single week.

Well... At least your systems start up so you can use them... Mine don't :( I really don't know what to do... As soon as the videomode should change from DOS-mode to VGA to show the XP-loadingscreen my computer goes BLANK and NumLock hangs...

I wonder... DO I have to connect BOTH 12V(5V I don't know which it is. 4 pin, white contacts) through the connector to my GFX-card? It's a Gainward 512MB 7800GT GLH.

I mean... Running AMD 64 3500+, 1GB RAM and one HDD together with this GFX should be possible with 350W huh? The powersupply is Arctic Cooling original that came with the case...

Seriously folks...If you can spend $$$ on all your other components...

Don't you think you should spend at least $110 on the ONE component that's going to power ALL of them???

Enermax Liberty 500W is just ONE prime example of a great PSU...It's built for SLI & can handle just about anything you throw at it...

I'll never understand why so many people choose their PSU last & only want to spend $30 on it...<scratches head>

Fishers Web is right, this has happened to me with 2 different factory overclocked video cards, a 6800 and a 6600gt. Underclocking back to stock fixed them both. Personally I dont think they test these 'factory overclocked' cards very well.
