My old video card only gave me 2800 in 3dmark03, and the game experience was thereafter..

My next question must be; some ideas to make this new card less noisy?

good to hear that... Zalman VF700-Cu or NV Silencer 5 both coolers are quieter and will cool better than the stock heatsink, and both are fairly easy to install.

Argh!

Ok, I've got me a new XFX6800GS AGP.

I've unlocked the pixel's n vertex's artifact-free - great.

However, I now want to move on to overclocking, and the TEST button ALWAYS fails. I gave up on Coolbits and I'm now using RivaTuner. Now I'm sure ANY xfx card could do at least (350/1001), but what really lets me know something funny is going on, is that even if I just click TEST in RivaTuner before I even raise the sliders, it still says Failed!!! LOL

Any ideas?

I love happy endings!
I have the Zalman 700cu, it is great! I heard the NV Silencer is great too. Can't go wrong with either.
