XFX 6800 Series Video Card Or 6800 GT

I bought a XFX 6800 GT PCI-E video card from Computer HQ on 12/28/04. The model # is PVT45GUDF7.
When I looked online for information about this card I could only pull up UK sites. I take it this card was made overseas or for overseas use. It benchmarked at over 11,000 so good there. When benchmarking this card it was classified as a 6800 series and went into that section for scoring. It did not get classified as a 6800 GT. Anyone know why? Will I have problems in the future with this card if i add another 6800 GT from XFX for SLI purposes? Or will any 2 6800 cards work together ok? i.e. 6800, 6800 GT, 6800 Ultra. I have an outstanding RMA with Computer HQ on this card minus there 15% restocking fee and am unsure what to do with this card. I am sure if i bitch enough about them selling me an overseas card I can probably get the 15% waived. My main concern is this card really a 6800 GT????????

The card is a 6800GT. Any card that starts out with 6800 will be classified as a 6800 series card, 6800LE, 6800, 6800GT, 6800 Ulrta, 6800 ultra extreme...notice they all start with 6800...make sense yet?? 6800 SERIES=any 6800, weather it's a plain 6800, or a 6800GT it is a 6800 card, and therfore in the 6800 series......isn't this your 3rd post asking the same thing....???

EDIT: yes, it is, 3rd time for the same question, please refrain from posting 3 differant times about the same thing, when you have already been answered. If you wanna waste your money by sending the card back for no reason, feel free.
Same question here

and here...

and yet another about the same one here...

Yeah stev it is. Just can not for the life of me figure out why on 3D mark I do not get categorized with the 6800 GT's. Plus the fact I am kind of pissed off about Computer HQ seling me an overseas card and not stating this card was made to be used overseas.

You can check this in your video card bios either using nvflash, WCPUID, or even 3DMark01-05. The device ID that you have currently in your video card bios is 00F9h.

PCI-E versions of the 6800GT should have at least bios version "5.40.02.30.03". This can be on a label on the back of the video card next to or directly under the black heatsink retension bracket.

As of right now AGP versions of 6800GT have device ID 0045h.

What's most important is that under Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/GeForce 6800GT Tab that you have it properly-identified as a 6800GT.

Currently manufactured PCI-E 6800GTs from Flextronics (w/c is a somewhat dark green pcb) will have this device ID (00F9h).

I wouldn't worry about it too much. PCI-E versions of the 6800 Ultra are like this too.

If its bugging you too much you can try extracting the current bios in your video card and use a bios editor to change the device ID from 00F9 to 0045.

Google is your friend on how to do that.
