It just dropped about 16 dollars in the past three hours, for this morning it was still 278 shipped, I cant believe they have the 6600gt so high still, it does not make sense for performance-cost-value to get the 6600gt instead of this 6800 for just a few bucks more.

The 6600GT AGP should fall to PCI-e level prices within the next few weeks. I'm sure the AGP version is in very high demand since a large majority of people don't have PCI-e yet.

Two DVI outputs, so anyone using a CRT will have to use the included DVI-VGA adapter.

You wish... still superior for certain things... the CRT will be around for a while.

Thats what I almost did, I was about to purchase the 6600 yesterday morning, forgot my cc, so I waited till evening and found that the price had dropped on the 6800, whiich is really unbeatable, outpost costs me more because of WA sales tax, and XFX makes good stuff, well at least from what I have used so far. The 6800LE's are going for the same price, and they are really not worth a dime in my opinion

I'm still holding out for the BFG 6800 OCs to come back in stock somewhere. I really don't mind paying an extra $20 for one, but I'm still saving up for the card anyhow. Its a lousy time of year to drop almost $300 on yourself. The BFG warranty and better than average success unlocking extra pipelines has me leaning towards buying that still.

I dont think you have read recent reviews of BFG OC success in pipeline unmasking, the new boards are not working and everyone is not sure why yet, best of luck to you though,
