<< X-Files seriously needs to go.

I hear that these are their final episode before the show gets the axe for good.. is that truE?
>>

They are the three science weird guys, they even made special TV episodes just about them, much better then xfiles 🙂

no, I have 12 episodes of it, dont know if there were more but I surely hope so since the last episode ended with "to be continued" :disgust: I want more

Yea, dead. I think it was a good thing because it gave closure. Granted, I would have liked to see them again because they were always so good, but at least they killed them off gracefully and with some dignity.

I stopped watching the x-files long, long ago...its too based on the central story now. I miss the old shows, where there was really no central plot, it was just a new case each week.

<< How did they die? I haven't watched it post Mulder. >>

I'm not sure that anyone watched post Mulder episodes except the guy who started this thread.

The three of them cornered what I think they call a Patient Zero? A human carrier of a virus that would release and kill the person in X hours. They cornered the guy with about a minute till the virus became airborne...so they pulled a fire alarm and sealed where they were standing, air-tight. It was the only way to save everyone else.

Kind of like how Spock died in Wrath of Khan. 😀

Edit: The Gunmen were buried in one of the national cemetaries for military/law enforcement heroes. A nice touch.

EXACTLY. I thought one of em would say "Live long, and prosper" esp. considering they're all geeks 🙁

Heh, seems like Fox's little "get back the viewers so we could consider renewal" stunt is working. Just look at all of the posts above, wanting to know what happened! 😀

After not watching for years I saw tonights episode. Im probobly going to watch the last episodes as long as I don't have to much home work I actually thought it was OK.

What was with that hacker guy kimmy? Wasn't he the guy who through himself under a bus at a computer convension many years ago. Im talking on the TV show.

The whole nerdy "Lone Gunmen" schtick was getting pretty tired anyways.

heh sad, the lone gunmen weren't that bad on their own show either. certainly fresher then the xfiles at the time😛 xfiles after movie = cr@p. basically it was taking up futurama and family guys timeslot. damn them

Originally weren't they going to end the serious after the movie, or way back in '98 or something. Or were those just tricks to attract more people?

<< X Files has sucked since they moved the show from Vancouver to LA.

It used to be my favorite show, too.
>>

*suspects that Notfred is actually my subconscious posting behind my back*

Gotta love that spoiler in the thread title, only another 20 minutes till the show
starts on the west coast.

Were the Lone Gunmen in other recent episodes, or were they only re-introduced
so that they could be killed off?
