that MSI with the military Caps is a STEAL at that price..
I ended up getting one as a spare cuz i ran out of x58 boards, cuz its one hell of a deal at 100 dollars.
if u need a new board i highly recommend that MSI over any ASUS except the rampage series.

u need to up the voltage on VTT for higher FSB.
Typically if i recall you had to have at least 1.375-1.4VTT... problem with vtt that high is you eat the life away at a gulftown very quickly...
I dont expect the gulftown to survive longer then 1-2yrs with VTT over 1.4... wont last 6 months if u FOLD on it.
windows 7 can not report values higher then stock..
so it will go by default clock when your clock is actually higher.
You follow whats in bios and cpu-z more then via windows.
Its exactly like my gulftown reporting 3.4ghz when the real clock is 4.4 due to pure multiplier tweaks.
(AKA... the lazy man's overclock.. on a XE or K type chip)
