Hello, I believe this is my first time posting on this site.
There was a Question I asked on one of the forum I usually go to and there has been no response, maybe you all can help.
Here was the recent question posted on that forum:
Ok, I got the V3/E5 xeon cpu to 2.95ghz at all times, however if I do motherboard cpu ratio tweaking under the ai tweaker section, reload bios, cstates, etc is all turned on, then I go into windows, the speeds keeps bouncing from low speed to max speed(3.4ghz+)...
If I do full 100% usage on all cpu/threads, the cpu goes back to x28 Multiplier + the overclock bclck, but on idle and very low cpu usage, the multiplier goes high as 33-34, my question is there a way to make the cpu to run its x34 multiplier speed, even with cstate is turned on?
Seems like its working but the 3.4ghz only works on low to idle speeds, full 100% usage, it goes back to x28 multiplier.
Motherboard is asus x99-a(Bios Revision 2101/Latest)
Cpu is E3-2678 V5 Xeon cpu
