I have an Xeon 2800dp 2.8 ghz cpu that i pulled From a Dell Poweredge SC1420 Server that had a bad mobo. Will this cpu work with an ASUS P5NSLI mobo. Any help will be appreciated.

The P5NSLI is built for a Socket 775 (T) CPU, the 2800DP is not 775...it will not work.

No. You need a Socket 604 motherboard.
