I'm running the standard shipping version of Xemacs with Mandrake 8.1, which I believe is "21.4 patch 4".
If I try to change the font or the font size using the menu interface (I'm not certain how do do it from the command interface), I get an error message that says:
"Wrong type argument: number-char-or-marker-p, nil"
And the fonts do not change. Right now some of my syntax highlighting uses italics, and it is virtually unreadable. Entire portions of some characters are not displayed on the screen, such as the upper parts of 'd' and 'j' and the lower parts of 'g', 'y', and 'p'. Not to mention that the readability is limited because of the small size...
Has ANYONE had this problem before, or perhaps know of a solution?
Thanks a million!
Kyle
