Hey guys, I wanted to see if anyone that is familiar with this modchip and the after-installation process of swapping HDDs in the Xbox can give me a little guidance. I'm not a total noob, so it shouldn't be much of your time. I did this before with the 29 wire Xtender and Enigmah modchips, but I just have a few questions.

Thanks in advanced!

Actually I just wanted to know if it is possible to use Xbox Live w/ a 250GB hdd installed, as long as it's locked and the mod is turned off.

Yes it is possible to use XBox live as long as the chip is turned off and you are not using a "backed up" game.

actually that is not entirely true, ms has been banning thousands of live users that have their mod chips turned off and playing legit games. you can read more about it here: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=293690

there are several theories atm and the fact itself has been confirmed by someone i talk to that works for ms but for obvious reasons that person cannot disclose the actual procedure details.

I think it's supposed to automate a lot of stuff in the installation process for you. The hardest part is the physical chip installation, which is solderless now isn't it?
