On my friends XBox360, he has a problem that I could not find info about on microsoft.com.
Problem:
He turns on his XBox360, it works. After about 10 minutes, the cooling fan will speed up, a few seconds later the screen will go black and the two left red lights on the circle turn solid red (not blinking).
Strange timing:
The problems all started about 30 minutes after he downloaded the most recent XBox360 update.
Other notes:
The controllers can not be used to power down.
The console's power button will turn the system off
This Xbox360 is about 3 years old.
Any help is appreciated.
