I don't own one, I just remember being at a friend's house and I accidentally brushed my hand up against his 360S and it shut off. Not possible on a standard 360.

So it's not shutting off randmonly, you swiped your hand by it .

If you are aware it is touch sensitive, you shouldn't have a problem. I've never had a problem with my 360S accidentally shutting off, but it's not in a place were people could brush up against it either.
