Sunday ad shows a price drop from 179.94 to 149.92

edit: Just noticed the sale starts April 1 [which was already rumored to happen] That probably explains why I could not find the same price online this morning at walmart.com
 
NICE! For those on the fence definitely makes it an easier decisio.. $150 is peanuts for sucha great system
 
I wonder if everywhere is going to drop them this week? If so, it would be better to buy it before the drop so you could get 110% of the difference.

can you do something like that with best buy?

I have a gift card I need to use up and this would be as good a thing to use it on as anything else.

I have a $25 BB gift card to use up; it would be nice to get BB to price match then use the $25 card on top of it. Or better yet, maybe BB will drop there price too.

It would be better if they did NOT drop the price (outside of Walmart). That way you can pricematch and get 110% of the difference. Sure, it's only a few dollars, but every little bit helps. I'm debating going ahead and buying one today at CC or BB since both have 30 day price guarantees.

They are dropping the price to $149. This was published in Video Store Retailer magazine a couple weeks ago already. All the adds for the all the diff stores are already made up etc.

No work on Sony but it said most expect them to match the price drop soon.

I always laugh when I see these threads and some people inevitably put up 'wait for next gen'... the funny part is yu pay 150 for the console then shell out 50 per new game... the console itself is negligible compared to game prices so I say spend spend spend ! 🙂
