XBox Ticket to Ride

A bit of a long shot, but does anyone know the board game Ticket to Ride and/or it's XBox Live Arcade version? I just splurged out the 800 points for the full version, and either I don't understand some rule, or it cheated.

It's the final turn, I have the cards I need to place my final route and complete a ticket. . . but it tells me I don't have enough cards. . . when I clearly do.

I need 6 blues. . . I have 5 blues and one wildcard-loco. . . but no, apparently I "only have 4"

WTF?

You have enough cards, but not enough trains. You start the game with 45 trains, and apparently you placed 41 of them. The number of trains you have left is presumably the number in the top right of your player icon (you see the numbers 4, 4, and 7 - the first 4 is your trains remaining). The last turn begins when any player has 0, 1, or 2 trains remaining (the green chick had 2 remaining, so everyone goes one more time including her)

Ahhh. . . I hadn't understood the difference between cards and trains. This explains much. lol. Thanks =)

Yeah, it's easier to understand with the board game where you have the little plastic trains in front of you.

Have they fixed the "issue" with red and orange looking very similar on the screen? That's one of the problems that's holding me back from buying the XBLA game. It looks like red and orange routes that have trains on them look different, but the unclaimed routes still look pretty similar.

I had trouble with the orange/red at first (and do wish they'd fix it) but once I got used to the difference I haven't had any problems with it.

One thing they did on the board game which was nice was having a shape in addition to the color. They need to do something similar here, figure out how to make it not so dependent on color.
