As skeptical as I was at first, XBox really does have more to offer than the PS2, at least when you factor in how truly useful a modded XBox is. Add in perks like Halo and KoToR and you've got a damn solid reason to get the XBox.

Of course I still love my PS2 to death since I'm a Final Fantasy and Silent Hill addict. In fact, PS2 seems to have more high-quality horror games than any other system.

Superior graphics and xbox live. There's not a single PS2 exclusive title that I have any interest in so the superior graphics/xbox live are all I need to point to in my specific case. The fact that my box is modded is just icing on the cake.

you already answered that question ... xbox live.

ever since i purchased xbox live last september i haven't even played my ps2. i let my GF's little brothers borrow it and they still have it, AND my ps2 is modded.

personally i would get xbox no questions asked. there are only like 2 games on ps2 that are "must haves" and God of War is one of them, which can easily be beaten as a rental.

Graphics are better, online play is better, better to mod. And the controller is 10x better than that crap PS2 controller. The analog triggers proved to be very useful for racing and FPS games IMO. The dual analog control is better suited for the majority of games rather than the goidy placement on the PS2, plus they feel like they have more resistance. AND they have 4 player support right off the Xbox with breakway controllers with LONG cords. I think MS did a lot of things well with the Xbox.

edit: I don't know of anyone buying a PS2 now. The mini one was talked about for a few but when people play Xbox they are more impressed from what I've seen. People want to buy a Xbox now. Those old PS2s are dieing hahaahha.

hah this guy summed it up PERFECTLY. that is EXACTLY why xbox is better. the ONLY thing that ps2 controllers are better suited for are fighting games, because the D pad on the ps2 is better than the xbox one, as are the trigger buttons (for fighting games only).
