My God does the Xbox install games from a disc extremely slowly. MS's reccomendation is to disconnect the internet then reconnect once the initial disk is installed. Then it starts downloading and installing an update.

Kind of tedious. I spent 3 hours trying to play SO and halo last night but only was able to play for 30 min before calling it a night.

For all you that have one how do you do it? The ps4 installs in five minutes then I can play while updates are downloaded. It seems like Xbox downloads the updates first if you are online before it attempts to install base files from the disk.

Picked up the $450 Kinect AC Unity bundle. Saved $170 with my trade in. Was too good of a deal to pass up seeing how my 360 was collecting dust and I needed a new blueray player.

Why do games need 20-25gb of space to even if i have the disk? That will limit me to 15 or so games.

Massive amounts of data that can't be streamed from the disk fast enough. It's like asking why on PC we have to install games, even though we have the disk.

We have three XBOX 360's here, the kids are thinking of trading one up.

I would do so at best buy by the 15th if you can, assuming that at least one of those 360's has a 250gb hd you can get up to $150 towards an Xbox one. Same thing if you have a ps3 slim in working condition.

I like best buy better than the MS store because they give you $10 per controller that you trade in whereas the MS store requires a controller and all original accessories for the $100 coupon.

Make sure you call in advance to check stock. The two BB near me were sold out and we got the last unit other than the 1tb units. $350 AC are almost all gone :(.
