I think I finally have to take this damned plunge. I don't want to play on live, I don't want to solder but I want to add space for emulators and roms.

I think I'm in the same boat.

1) How much does XBox Live cost?
2) What games can be played with XBox Live? I don't play sports games.

Live is like $50/year but there are deals like 3 months free when you buy certian games (I think). You can play just about anything on live from Halo2 to Mortal Kombat, etc.

I don't do Live myself. Too much money for what I can do free on the PC.

Does he do a GOOD job (is he a pro or amateur)?

What method or chips does he use?

How much and how long does it take?

Excellent job. Tsop method. Loads it up. $50. Did it while I waited - about 30-60 min.

I don't know him personally, but he did mine and a friends, and we couldn't be happier.
