I guess that's why I'm asking... I don't watch anything on my PC other than little video clips (i.e. trailers.) I have DirecTiVo, so I never miss TV shows.

It just seems as though I'm missing out on something, with so many people modding out there, but I can't figure out what it is. (Aside from pirating games and movies, that is.)

Also consider that they have wireless media players (like set-top boxes) currently selling for $150 in retail stores. A modded xbox does this for you (if you get the wireless LAN adapter). I started a thread about those media players and someone pointed to a modded xbox (thanks!). But again, if you don't watch stuff on your PC... then it's just the pirated games.

Hmm.. not sure if there is anything for TiVo. I've got a Series 2 TiVo, but from what I have read it isn't nearly as hackable as previous TiVos. I kind of wish I had a ReplayTV now after watching my friend stream shows directly from his ReplayTV across his wireless network to another room where his XBox was located and watch the shows there. But the TiVo was a gift so I can't complain.
