Xbox Live through wireless

Is there some way to hook a ethernet cord to the back of the computer and let the internet transfer through the wireless connection i have on my computer?

From a Network point of view the X-box is basically like another computer.

I have a router. The router is in the other room, which has no TV. This room does, but no internet.

I'm wondering also, I have a spare 54g router (DI624C) that I'd like to be able to use as a wireless bridge from my xbox to my WRT54G router. I only consider it because a tech freind mentioned it could be done. Possibabble?
