XBOX LIVE Renewal Rates announced!

I just got my issue of XBOX Magazine, and it contains the announcement for the XBOX Live, year 2 prices:

XBOX Live one year renewal/subscription: $49.99
XBOX Live monthly rate $ 5.99
XBOX Live Voice communicator $29.99
XBOX Live Starter Kit $69.99

The Starter Kit will include the communicator, 1 year of service and some game demos.
Existing users will be able to buy extra communicator headsets.

Bascially, if you buy by the year, it's the same. If you do monthly, it costs a bit more. That's a pretty standard online pricing scheme. BTW, $5.99 a month (or less if you pay a full year) to be able to play many different titles is a pretty good price.

 

That was announced a while ago. Before E3.

It's completely up to the Developer if they want to charge a monthly fee or not.
