Xbox Live NBA 2k3 Question

For NBA 2k3, can I have myself and 3 other friends play on one console vs. another group of 4 ppl elsewhere through xbox live? How about 5 vs. 5? Thanks.

up to 4vs4, i believe so but due to the console only having 4 controller ports I dont think 5 is possible.

That reminds me of NBA2K1 on the Dreamcast a couple of years ago. Me and 3 other friends got online and played this girl, or so the person said she was a girl. Us 4 against her. I beleive she spanked our arse, if I remember correctly. Of course, I had just rented it, and none of us had ever played it before. It was our first game, we hopped right online.

I wish NBA2K3 was as good Live 2003, or if even Live was online on XBOX. Those were good days.

You are the first person I've seen that thought any of the Live series was better than any of the 2K series.

I also think Live 2003 is better than 2K3. I played both. And Live's gameplay is alot more fun in my opinion. Some people say 2k3 is too complex. I don't think so but I think Live is more entertaining.

ONLY THIS YEAR!!! I completely loved NBA2K2, but this year's version, it's just too dammed slow. And the freestyle control is so awesome! We'll see about next year. It was the same with NFL2K2 and NFL2K3. Last year, I preferred NFL2K2 over Madden 2002, and preferred NBA2K2 over Live 2002. This year, I prefer Madden 2003 over NFL2K3 and Live 2003 over NBA2K3.

It's great what competition will do for sports gamers!

I didn't mean to sound like I was condeming anyone. I was just surprised. I might have to check out Live this year. The problem I'm having with EA's games is that they spend so much time on hype and commercials then do nothing for the actual gameplay.

Yeah, the key part in that quote is the very end. It's more entertaining. It's not sim at all.

Another Question:

If I do get me and 3 other friends to play on my xbox for NBA2k3, will each of them have to have their own seperate ID tags? If so, can I make multiple ID tags from my subscription alone?

If they have their own they can use it but if not they will be listed as "Guest of (your id) "
