I currently have a Samsung 181T 18.1" LCD Monitor and am looking to hookup my Xbox to it using the X2VGA Adapter X2VGA Adapter. I do have a few questions though regarding the HD compatibility. My monitor has a maximum native resolution of 1280x1024, will this be high enough to support the 480P, 720P, and 1080i HD resolutions that this adapter is capable of producing? Also, will ghosting be an issue on my monitor? I love to watch DVD movies on it because the picture is so clear and I have no gohsting, but will games be the same way? I do not plan on using a KVM switch because I use DVI to hookup the monitor to my Computer and will be using the built in switching on the monitor to use the VGA cable with the Xbox adapter. I would appreciate anyone that has had an experience with these, especially with an LCD monitor, to let me know how they liked it, and whether or not they would reccomend it to anyone. Thanks a lot!

Since most X-box games run at less than 60+ FPS i'm sure your monitor will do fine. The resolutions, though. There might be scaling. 480P is 640X480 which would probably be the best resolution to play at since it's a perfect factor of 2 to your native res, thus instead of scaling the image it would just have to double the width and height.

Haven't used one before, though. :(
