Xbox HALO question

I just bought Halo... now I have a dumb question. I'm in the first 'training' scenario I guess, and I need to crouch under this door which is halfway open. It says "Click Left button" and I assume that means the left analog stick, but I can't figure this out for the life of me. No button I press makes my guy crouch.

What gives?? How do I do it?

Agreed. I just passed the game last night. Today is the first time I've seen the sun in days 😉

game failed to really impress me. played 6 hours and got tired of it. not even multiplayer does it justice. maybe i'm just not into FPS games right now considering i just got a pair of dreamcast maracas, and can't stop playing sambe de amigo. heh
 
I suck. I beat it on easy mode a few months back and I try the next level up and get my ass kicked. So I just keep re-doing levels on easy mode. 😉

Ive had the game since Christmas, but haven't beat it yet. I hardly ever play my consoles. Computer takes to much of my time.

It is a good game though, just never really got "into" it.

I beat it on all the levels. Legendary is a major bitch. But when you beat it on the hardest setting (legendary) there is a slightly different ending cinema for you to watch😀
 
I beat the game on Normal, then went back and played the first and last levels on Legendary. You can get the different ending cinema just by beating the last level on Legendary, not the whole game. Also, you can see a vid of the different ending at this site:

It doesn't have ANY control details in the manual! I actually looked..which yes, is rare for me. But I actually checked and it said nothing. 😕
 
what is this "multiplayer online" you speak of?

are you talking about the "hack" where you can setup a VPN tunnel with someone to play a little mini-game? are there actually that many people doing this?

Oh and murphyy55d, when you created your character, you had the option to set your controls (or default inverted)
 
Heh, yeah i posted that Halo Physics Experiment last week. 😉 I've watched that thing multiple times.

Oh about ONLINE gaming... people on the xbox.com forums for Halo say that XBConnect is better with less lag. I haven't tried myself, but I've tried the GameSpy Tunnel... it worked... couldn't say good or bad since I haven't tried XBConnect.
 
This game is freaking awesome.

I am not a huge FPS fan, I didnt really like RTCW, I never played CS, but Halo is very very cool.

When I bought it my friend said, "why did you buy that, that game is so &%^$ing stupid. " then he came over yesterday and I showed him the game, well he sort of changed his mind. 😀
