XBOX Gurus: Are there any NES-type controllers that are compatible with XBOX?

I'm contemplating buying an XBOX only so i can play all my old favorite NES games...but i was wondering if there were any controllers resembling old-school NES controllers that fit into an xbox?

Thanks for the links, that's pretty f-ing cool. I was hoping there was some website that sold a generic version of an NES controller fitted to an XBOX console, but I guess that hasn't happened yet. Damn...
 
Actually you can buy one of those nes/snes ---> usb converters and splice a xbox port to it and it would work. Fairly simple. Sign up on xbox-scene.com in the forum and ask. Im sure they will have an answer
