I've hated gamerscore points ever since spending so much time getting 1000/1000 on COD4. So not worth it.

Achievements are MS's final tool to attempt to destroy direct human relations once and for all so we will all be forced to interact solely through their platform.

I've been trying to catch up to my friend in gamerpoints but that bastard has been keeping a consistent lead since I bought my 360. I guess it's time to find a new friend.

I had a friend like that, we were neck and neck back when I was at about 7000. He got ahead of me, then I left him in the dust (he's at 12K or so, I'm almost to 19K).
