Seriously. I've been trying to find some fairly kid-friendly Xbox games so I can let my little brother (8 years old) join in on some of the multiplayer chaos.

No, I'm not going to let him play Def Jam NY.

Fuzion Frenzy sucks compared to Mario Party ... and honestly, WTF else is there? :confused:

He's a huge fan of Burnout 3 (only one I have), but can't keep up with the brutal rubberbanding enemy AI. Plus, that's only 2-player, not really "party." If he wants to bludgeon stuff on wheels, we can play Mario Kart and at least give him a sporting chance by way of Winged Blue Shell.

Come on, you're never too young for Halo2

no but seriously, if you want your kids to have an amazing childhood with games: get them NES and SNES and play with them.

Or, just give em an oldskool 2D sports game and they'll have a hell of a time while learning the basics of different sports

Heh. We played my Dreamcast to death. He can kick my ass at Rush 2049, and can handle Sonic 2 just swell. Bought the Cube when the DC died ( :( ) and he plays Mario Sunshine and Zelda.

GC is THE BEST for multiplayer (non online) games. I mean come on, you can have 4 player Donkey Konga!

And yes, Mario Kart kicks ass as does Super Monkey Ball and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

dust off the 64 and play Mario Party 1 & 2 (NOT #3). those were great games for kids and adults. i think peach is too skanky on the cube. nintendo will do anything to boost sales. RIP Peach. Long live Princess Toadstool!

PS. nothing says adolescent nightmares like "Warluigi". 1 & 2 are Warluigi free.

i agree and all i played was the demo. lol, i love tennis game demos. there isnt a reason to buy the game if you have the demo. how many nights did i lose sleep because i couldnt choose a spainish player and a clay court? NONE.

my little grand-nephews(7 and 5) love playing the co-op multiplayer in Star Wars the Clone wars.

Of course they also love Smash Bros and Mario Kart. And Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance coop.

Actually, this is an incredibly fun game. My two boys love it.

But yeah, I agree wholeheartedly with M4H... The GC rules for kiddie party games. But other than RE4, there's just no interest for adults. (Unless you have some sort of unhealthy obsession with Mario/Zelda/Pokemon. ;) )

My Xbox is already cracked open wider than Tara Reid's ... uh, I'll end this analogy right here.

Emulation, there's a thought. I should procure some LEGAL BACKUP ROMS for Mario Party 1-3 :)
