hello everyone,

i just got one of these. Xbox HD-DVD drive so far, i've only been able to play it through my xbox. the picture quality is awesome. unfortunately i am having issues playing it through my pc. the drive is detected by XP but when i go to play HD-DVDs, powerdvd plays the movie but it's zoomed in. i don't know if that makes sense. i can't get the full movie to display on my monitor or projector. i have powerdvd 7.2 ultra that supports both blu-ray and hd-dvd. the device came with king kong in hd-dvd. is this a scaling issue or something? why am i only seeing the upper portion of the movie? the rest is cut off. i've tried playing with all the powerdvd options to no avail. i even tried different drivers.

anybody out there with some experience with this? any advice would be appreciated. by the way, normal dvds play just fine.

my projector is a mitsubishi hd1000. my pc specs are in my sig.

hi guys,

it's me again. i'm still having an issue. i used a dvi to vga converter and connected my video card to the vga port on the projector. when i go to play a movie i am only seeing a zoomed in image. i can't get the entire movie to display. does this make any sense? what's also weird is that i have to use anydvd for the movie to even play. any advice would be appreciated.
