xbox controller modded for PC.

i was thinking of using ths guide

1. will it work on oblivion.
2. has anyone tried it.
3. can somebody please tell the the layout of oblivion on the 360 so i can set it to that ?

1) It should work with oblivion, it sees it as a regular game pad. The only problem I can see is maybe configuring the analog sticks to do the same things as in the X360.
2) I've done it and it works. It is actually a really nice controller to use.
3) I dont know the layout, sorry.

Different button layout on the 360 then on the original XB controller. You are much better off mapping things yourself.

I did that last year and it worked great. It was nice to be able to switch use between the PC and XBox. Very simple and easy mod.

You can buy adapters to use XB controllers on the PC off of Ebay. Thats the best price I've seen.

Here's the button layout for the 360 if you still need it...

A Button - Activate
B Button - Journal
X Button - Ready Weapon/Torch
Y Button - Jump
Left Bumper - Grab
Right Bumper - Cast Spell
Left Trigger - Block
Right Trigger - Attack
Back Button - Wait
Start button - Pause
Left Thumbstick - Move
Left Thumbstick Button - Toggle Sneak Mode
D-Pad - Hotkeys
Right Thumbstick - Look around
Right Thumbstick Button - Switch between First Person and Third Person views

Yes, I just did it myself for something else.

Just follow the guide that you posted too (thats what I used). Just connect the color to the same color (yellow just leave alone).

And download drivers from here FIRST: http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html#download
Then install them
THEN you can plug in the controller and just say install automatically for the 2 things that come up.
