Xbox comprable power to a cray C94????

Comparing an XBox GPU's incredibly specific and optimzed capabilities to a general purpose supercomputer's capabilities isn't even comparing apples to oranges. It's more like comparing apples to bricks. NVidia's claim is marketing at its best (or worst), and should be ignored.

Crays are pretty old too aren't they? I remember an article a while ago about how new chess games you get on your computer are more advanced than the supercomputer they made way back in the day to challenge top chess players. Which might be true, but doesn't really fool anyone.

Keep in mind that the Cray that they're comparing it to came out in 1994. That's about 7 years before the XBox.

Haha, this is a stupid statement

"If the HyperTransport link in the Xbox was a pipe carrying water, and every bit of information equalled one gallon, the pipe would fill up the Pacific Ocean every second!"

A more accurate comparison might be the smallest measurement of water to the smallest measurement of information. Not 1 bit to 1 gallon. Why not 1 bit to 10 gallons? 20 gallons? Then we'd fill up the worlds oceans!!! OMGWTFBBQ! Then we can post it on our website and brag about something totally meaningless and non existent! I am teh marketing genius!
