XBOX Bundle - $239 , PS2 Bundle - $279 @ Costco

Just stopped by costco and noticed that the Xbox bundle with 2 games, S controller, etc. is @$239. That's a NICE price.
They have a PS2 with some accessories and a game for $279, still a good deal.

they got that same xbox bundle for 199 at kbtoys. you also get a 20 dollar gift certicate, a shirt, and a cap.

Actually, the $239 deal at costco includes a second "s" controller and the dvd remote. it's still not as great as the kbtoys deal, however, considering you can get the dvd remote for free after rebate. not sure whether the dvd rebate would work for the xbox combo at costco, since the dvd remote may not individually show up on the receipt, and i'm guessing you would need that for the rebate. costco

Why is the KBToys deal so "great" all you get is a tshirt and hat, which can also be had by purchasing any one of a number of games or accessories there, and a $20 GC - which IS NOT the same as $20 off.

Buy.com has a $10 coupon (was $15 when I ordered) and free shipping and no tax.

the dvd remote rebate is NOT valid with the Xbox Sega GT bundle, despite what some employees might tell you, the rebate form clearly states acceptable UPCs, and the Sega GT bundle UPC is not on it

actually, that's not quite true. if you look up the xbox deals big list post, you will get the latest update. plus, i was at target a few days ago and noticed that the sega bundles there actually had the dvd rebate sticker/form on the front of the box. didn't check to see if they've reprinted the rebate labels to include the new upc numbers, but it's been confirmed by a number of people who've contacted microsoft and who've actually received the rebate in the mail on these sega bundles.

I bought the new bundle pack, then the dvd remote and I just received my rebate check. As long as you had a receipt for each, you WILL get the rebate.
