xBox boots linux

Linux has successfully been booted on a modchipped Xbox. It presently runs a telnet server and a webserver, which serves a page like
this and a few others.

these might be good to make a cheap povray renderfarm, or cluster, or neural net. the neural net thing would be pretty cool. $10000 for 50 of these things, and have each one simulate 1000 nodes. you'd get the processing power of a spider for only $10000!

you'd be wasting the gf3-like graphics processor there.... I think you oculd build a 700mhz p3 + normal graphics card for around that price, or less (1gig duron, etc)
