Xbox and DOA3. Oh my God.....

I really don't care about consoles, and I've never played DOA(Dead or Alive); however, I took a look at the trailers for DOA3 over at IGN, and I couldn't believe it. Never have I seen such beautiful animation and graphics....EVER. This was realtime, too. I've got the links below. The movies are in Quicktime. Let me know what you think.

Finally, an actual Xbox title that's graphically up to par with the other consoles.
The DOA people are a rare breed of programmers, though. DOA on the DreamCast looks better than many PS2 games.

True. DOA2 on DC looks absolutely outstanding. The gameplay itself is kinda... eh... but the graphics are incomparable. Until DOA3 comes out, that is. If these videos are the 100% real deal, there's no way I'm passing up an X-box.

I saw these the other day...yet another game pushing me closer and closer to that $300 purchase.

If they come up with Soul Caliber 2 for the Xbox, I think I'll move to Redmond and bow daily infront of MS's headquarters.

The gameplay on DOA3 was a little poor...I found the controls to be hard to master. But it was just about unbeatable for a 1 on 1 fighting game with your buddies

Yeah a game is nothing without gameplay. Remember the original Mortal Kombat on SNES and Genesis? those were the days...

I thought it was on the Dreamcast. I prefer the not so based in reality fighters to the more physics based ones like DOA2, although DOA2 wasn't too bad (the ability to leap over your opponent aould have been nice)

Doa2 is by far the most played game on my dreamcast. soul calibur is great, but not nearly as much fun as 4 player tagteam in DOA2.
