I'm going to wait until 1080p TVs get a little cheaper before I purchase an XBox360. I mean, it is one of the few devices that can output that resolution (minus the ps3), so I won't buy a 1080i TV that will be eclipsed quickly.

what is a 1080i tv?

1080i won't be obsolete soon, neither will 720p. the costs for those two are still high, although theyve been steadily dropping. waiting for 1080p to become mainstream, you might as well wait for ps4/xbox 720😛 would be pointless anyways as xbox is 720p/1080i. ps3 is the same. sure it claims 1080p but do you really think developers are really going to bother wasting time optimizing their game for a rarely used and more hardware intensive resolution. i doubt most games would have the headroom to let them increase detail again for 1080p.

who actually read the whole thing ? It says BUNDLED WITH GAMES only... you're gonna be paying for a whole package of games with it.

Also, be prepared to shell out more than you may have budgeted, as Circuit City will only be selling systems bundled with games.

Update:

Circuit City?s PR managers have responded to our request for clarification on the confusing language on the Circuit City website. Here?s the real deal:

Circuit City will begin selling a limited supply of Xbox 360 bundles on www.circuitcity.com beginning 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2005. These units will ship on 11/21/2005; customers who opt to pay extra for next-day delivery can do so to get their Xbox in their homes on 11/22/2005.
We are not selling them earlier in our stores; I apologize for the misinformation you received from the call center. We will have Xbox 360 units for sale in all Circuit City stores nationwide beginning 10 a.m. local time on 11/22/2005. They are first-come, first-served as we did not allow any preorders.
