From Circuit City....
That isn't fair to all of us who prebought at gamestop or elsewhere.

Anyone hear anymore on this?

Here is link

Update:

Circuit City?s PR managers have responded to our request for clarification on the confusing language on the Circuit City website. Here?s the real deal:

Circuit City will begin selling a limited supply of Xbox 360 bundles on www.circuitcity.com beginning 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2005. These units will ship on 11/21/2005; customers who opt to pay extra for next-day delivery can do so to get their Xbox in their homes on 11/22/2005.
We are not selling them earlier in our stores; I apologize for the misinformation you received from the call center. We will have Xbox 360 units for sale in all Circuit City stores nationwide beginning 10 a.m. local time on 11/22/2005. They are first-come, first-served as we did not allow any preorders.

Yeah, it's interesting, considering that CC's website has "available Friday" or whatever in lime green pictures all over the 360 packages.

If I knew someone to sell it to, I'd go camp out at my local CC since I don't work til 4 on Friday 😛

No, as a CC employee this deal is for online, and it will SHIP (almost positive) on Friday, you cannot buy at the B&M on Friday. B&M will go on sale as usual on the 22nd.

*edit*

Just read the link, I'll be looking into this tomorrow at work-

I'll update when I hear it from our GM's mouth.

I assume preorder too, but it seems they are allowing full sales. Hrrrrm.
It's cutting it close for a preorder anyways. I hope if they break the date, other places will too.

I'm going to wait until 1080p TVs get a little cheaper before I purchase an XBox360. I mean, it is one of the few devices that can output that resolution (minus the ps3), so I won't buy a 1080i TV that will be eclipsed quickly.

I don't think there is any current support for 1080p on the 360.

I don't. I work Friday and there'd be no way I could get one if everyone broke the date. As luck has it, I'm scheduled off of work for the 22nd.

This could be phrased in a deliberately ambiguous way... If it's real though, I'm really pissed. I pre-ordered an Xbox 360 back in July and it turns out I won't get one on launch day.
