So an aquaintance dropped by last week , and hands me an XBOX 360 , still in the box.....and says can you fix it...I was like "What?"
His kid got the last Madden stuck in it , and couldn't get it to eject. Messed with it for like a week.
I told him I'd take a look at it..Well when I finally got around to it , the darned thing doesn't have ANY screws on the outside....it's put together fairly well. Anyhow , I told him that I'd probably have to break something to get it opened. To quote him..
"I don't care if you break it , I've already bought a new one. I just want the game back."
So this past weekend , I did my homework and figured out how to open the thing. And finally dissasembled it , and took the DVD drive out , and there were pretzle sticks in the gears that cause the laser lens to lower so the drive can eject. Anyhow , he came over last night and picked up the disk , and thanked me....
now what do I do? Do I keep it? (It needs a controller and a video cable?) He thinks it's broken and useless , and took the harddrive , and the controller for it. Or do I accept this as payment for retrieving his game. And say for about $100 bucks in accessories have myself a brand new 360?
