Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter

You can always use a game bridge adapter, I got one off ebay, a Dlink for $20 new, and does 108MBS. I think geeks has some too for around $30-$40 shipped.

Belkin makes a gaming adapter that amazon.com reviews say works better than the microsoft one and has easy setup. Sells $110 at microcenter but on ebay they are all $50 shipped. I just got one.

The Deal Extreme would be a good deal except I'm willing to pay the extra $20 to have new vs refurbished... I tend to not trust anything refurbished. It might be perfectly fine, but you just never know.

Also look for one of these, can be modded to work as an Xbox adapter

this is a great alternative if you have more than one console and a pc and don't want to shell out for wireless adapters. i use an asus wl-520gu from a ZZF deal awhile back. installed dd-wrt, set it up with wireless client-bridge mode and it works great for my 360 and HTPC, which are in the basement with the main router (which runs stock firmware) on the 2nd floor.

of course... the 360 wireless adapter is a bit cleaner and you're dealing with one less device and several fewer wires.

but ya know, a dd-wrt router is a good option if you're on the fence about the microsoft adapter, and it's a bit cheaper.

i was hoping to find a good price for the Linksys Gaming Adapter because it has N speed (which this MS one doesnt). Does anyone know if the MS 360 adapter supports WPA2?

Yes, the official Microsoft adapter does support WPA2.

Wish the 360 had gigabit Ethernet...

WPA2 MS Adapter, google around.
It says it is supported but it does not work!
