Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter Question

They usually do zoning for stuff like that by region (ex. North America). Since it's just a USB adapter, you probably don't have anything to worry about. The drivers are built-in to the 360 and it requires minimal setup. So as long as you have 802.11 A, B or G, you'll be set.

A or G actually. The 360 wireless adapter doesn't do B.

If it does G, it does B. By very definition it has to. G was forced to be backwards compatable with B.

So anything that does 802.11G also includes the data rates and modulation of 802.11b.

d'oh you're right. I could have sworn that I read it only supported A/G. Now I go back and read again and it supports all three.

I retract my previous comment. 😛
