Xbox 360 VGA Cable

I recently bought a vga cable for my 360 off ebay. my one for some reason can output 1080p but i read many reviews and they say the vga cable is not capable of doing this. why can mine

I think youre confusing it with the Component cable.

How old were those reviews? I don't think it originally could do 1080p, but I think a later update enabled it.

The component, VGA, and HDMI cables can all do 1080p, provided your TV's inputs are similarly endowed.

got mine from here: http://search.ebay.com/search/...+cable+xbox&category0= fo under 10 bucks, and 720p games look wonderful on my 24 inch benq monitor.

Only VGA and HDMI allow the 360 to upscale DVDs beyond 480p though.

theres also something else thats weird. when i ply the games, they look crisp, its just that whenever i open the guide in the midst of a game, it looks really blurred and just crap.

Hmm, I don't know what might be causing that. Maybe try changing the background for the guide (I think it's under your profile options) might help make it better?
